Kristin has experience treating behavioral misconduct, trauma, attachment disorders, substance abuse, self injury, emerging personality, and family relational issues. She has  a personal curiosity for exploring adoption, identity, sexuality, and gender.

Education &
Prior Work Experience

Kristin’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Eastern Kentucky University, and a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Utah. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Before becoming a clinician, Kristin began her career with the Department for Children and Family Services in Kentucky as a Child Protection Social Worker where she served inner-city impoverished youth involved with the juvenile justice system. These early experiences led Kristin to pursue a career working with adolescents struggling to thrive in their home environment. Kristin also held a position at Second Nature as a field staff for several years before beginning graduate school.

Kristin’s clinical experience also includes six years with Vista Adolescent Treatment Centers working with female and male youth in a residential setting. Kristin assisted in opening an all female campus where she developed and ran an empowerment group series.


Kristin’s natural ability to be personable and relatable helps her reach teens through her compassion, humor, and adventurous spirit. Kristin believes that connection is the true catalyst for deep change and strives to build honest relationships with her clients.


Kristin has an insatiable drive for adventure and play that leads her to new experiences like skydiving, flying trapeze, and solo travel to remote locations. Outside of her professional career, Kristin also trains as an alpine caver and circus aerialist.
