Lu has been a primary therapist at Second Nature Wilderness Programs since 2005.

Lu is known for her very direct style and rigorous honesty.  She is able to be confrontational yet nurturing and empathic. She believes that the most important asset in working with adolescents is developing a trusting and honest relationship. She is skilled at working with defiant young men and helping them find the super hero within themselves.

Outside of her experience Lu brings a love of the outdoors, adventure, and travel. She believes in challenging herself and her students to get outside of their comfort zones to learn more about themselves and the world around them.  One of her favorite things to do is anything she has never tried before.
