As a Pennsylvania native, some of Raegan’s fondest childhood memories are traveling west with her family. She attributes many moments of personal growth to her adventures in the wilderness as a young girl. Her love for people and meaningful experiences outside led her to achieve an undergraduate degree in Adventure Education. This has taught her not only outdoor living techniques, but a variety of communication, leadership, and group dynamic skills. Additionally, she spent a semester studying with the National Outdoor Leadership School, where she fell further in love with the state of Utah and learned about Second Nature.

Raegan started working as a field instructor at Second Nature in the fall of 2021. She thoroughly enjoyed getting to know students’ stories, engaging in challenging conversations, and laughing with them throughout the day. In January of 2022, Raegan moved into the Family Programming Department to assist in facilitating parent visits where she finds interacting with families to be a rewarding experience. As the Parent Coordinator, Raegan is committed to providing high-quality care to the parents and families that choose our program.

In her free time, Raegan is an avid rock climber and snowboarder. She looks forward to exploring more of Utah’s beautiful wilderness as she accrues more time as a transplant to the West.
